The specificity with which the investors turned to the architects was the requirement to design housing, the highest imperative and determinant of the design of which was to be the independence and autonomy of housing to the maximum possible extent.
With the growing public awareness of the possibilities of (not only) energy savings in the construction and operation of family houses, in the context of the current social situation (economic recession), it is logical that the topic of “house with no bills” is becoming extremely attractive in the private residential sector. But to what extent is wish the father of the idea? What is the reality between the boundaries of ideals and pragmatism? How should an architect react to such an assignment?
