A word from the author
From the very first consultations, the builders were in favor of building a house out of wood. During the discussions, we went through different types of wooden buildings, but all the time, despite the higher input costs, she was attracted by the admitted wood in the interior, so the choice was clear. The house is designed and implemented from visible CLT panels. These are insulated with a combination of thermal insulation: mineral wool and fiberboard. There was no requirement for wooden exposed ceilings, so the roof is designed as a truss truss and from the interior the ceilings are white plasterboard.
In wooden buildings, the wooden façade is literally a question, because the entire structure of the house is just made for this. I was all the more pleased that the builders like wooden facades very much, so we used the wooden façade completely for the whole house and the garage. The masses of the house thus look compact and modern. The wood used is Siberian larch, and over time, the wood will age and patinate. In this way, the house will change its appearance over time.
When choosing the technology for the house, we took into account the maximum maintenance-free and simplicity of the system as a priority. In order to maintain high living comfort, which also includes controlled ventilation of the house, we have chosen a vacuum ventilation system. This system, even if maintenance is neglected, is easy to clean and there is no major damage to the equipment. Heating is underfloor and is provided by a combination of a ventilation heat pump, which also heats water in combination with an ionizing electric boiler for possible needs of higher outputs in winter. The entire heating and ventilation system is controlled by the Taphome system, so even in the event of any problem, the service can solve many things remotely via the Internet without the need for mechanical intervention. Despite the fact that the house is permanently inhabited by a family of several people, the owners can also set the requirements for changes in settings, such as room temperatures or ventilation, remotely, directly from the place of current residence.
