The house is built as a prefabricated building made of wood – the LIGNOTREND system. The strategy of resilience to the effects of climate change includes not only an energy passive standard, carbon neutrality achieved by the application of renewable building materials, but also the so-called full-body white skin of the house made of EQUITONE cement-fibre boards, which significantly contributes to the reduction of temperatures both in the exterior (elimination of the so-called heat island) and in the interior of the house. The source of heat and cold is a heat pump. The house is designed in accordance with the principles applied to passive houses and thanks to its compact design, it achieves the parameters required by this standard.
