Our company is the holder of the quality mark, which is awarded by a commission appointed by the Association of Wood Processors of the Slovak Republic with an independent professional guarantee of the Technical University in Zvolen.

As soon as we decided that we were going to build a house from CLT panels, we moved to the stage of choosing a company. We chose 4 companies from different parts of Slovakia that had experience in building houses from CLT panels. We did not choose the offer that was the cheapest, because not always what is cheapest at the beginning is cheap at the end and it certainly does not mean that cheap is also quality. The decisive criterion was the overall communication, impression, their experience… and the negative in this case was not even the fact that the construction took place in the east of Slovakia, while the implementation company was from Žilina
For us, as we wanted to build a house in a really record time, everything had to be planned in detail, well organized and of course there was no time for hesitation, analysis, but for quick and clear decisions…. So, when we had a clear idea of what we wanted (it took about 3 months to read it, communicate it with friends, with experts), the preparation with the project department of Kontrakting was very fast, as we wanted to do everything by the deadline so that the deadline would not have to be postponed.
In our case, it was really the case that as it was planned, it was implemented. Of course, the necessary minor changes that occurred during the construction were quickly consulted and implemented. We very positively evaluate the fact that if the implementation of the work is taken over by a company that has all the professions that are needed during construction, it will save a lot of time, stress, nerves and, last but not least, money for the property owners
With the employees of Kontrakting, with whom we were in contact, the communication was at a professional level – always helpful and polite. The same applies to subcontractors who supplied some professional activities on our construction site for this company.
Since the foundation slab was made, the house was built and inhabited by us in three months. The perimeter walls are made of 10 cm CLT panels, which are visible inside and the internal partitions are made of a columnar structure. Of course, all construction processes were dry (except for the foundation slab). We have had our first winter and we only heated with a talc stove. We also went through the decision whether to build a wooden house or a brick… We definitely do not regret our decision. The house is very nice and tasteful, as there are many natural materials in it. We have to say that we are extremely satisfied with the choice of the company and the delivery of their work for us. If we were to decide again, we would certainly not opt for another competing company. On our construction site, we had experience with companies that we would certainly not recommend to anyone, but also with companies that, on the contrary, we are very happy to recommend to everyone. We have been living in the house for more than half a year and we do not see any shortcomings. Of course, something can happen over time with construction, but we believe that since the cooperation has been correct so far, even in the event of a complaint or the need to help or advise something, it will not be a problem to contact the company and solve things sensibly.
