Synagogue Žilina

Thanks to our story, the new synagogue in Žilina by the world-famous architect Peter Behrens from 1931 is a unique building not only for a few architecture enthusiasts who have been writing about its European significance for years. Thousands of residents of Žilina, Slovakia and abroad know about it. They support its monumental reconstruction, help us, keep their fingers crossed, prepare exhibitions and cultural projects for the future Kunsthalle, spread the good name and the message of one exceptional architecture and one sincere initiative to save it for cultural use. Kontrakting is also among them and is proudly working on the reconstruction of the roof.
